Modern Masters at York

The According to McGee Gallery at 8 Tower Street, York YO1 9SA (opposite Cliffords Tower), is beginning a series of exhibitions that they are calling ‘Modern Masters’. Later in the year one will feature work by Dave Pearson. But 12pm, Saturday 10th September 2016 there’s an opening introducing the series, and this will include a small number of pieces by Dave Pearson.

Art Decor Gallery in Whalley is also now representing Dave Pearson, and Chris McCabe will be on hand to answer any questions. The gallery is next to the railway station.

Finally, discussions are going on to plan a larger scale exhibition of Dave Pearson’s work at the Turnpike Gallery in Leigh. which is ‘under new management’ and being restored to some of its past importance as an arts centre in west Manchester. Dave showed his Byzantium series there over 20 years ago.
