AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL WORKS 1983 - 1989 & SELF-PORTRAITS

During the 1980s Dave Pearson produced a number of large, medium and small scale paintings on autobiographical themes - many relating to childhood memories with his family.

Dave also produced a number of self-portraits during this period, and continued to do so. Many of his works have an autobiographical content, of course, most especially the late 'Hospital Series' that deal directly with his illness, hospitalisation and mortality.
